District Technologies is a young startup based in London, which has already been recognised as one of the rising stars of smart cities / property tech. We provide Real Estate players with SaaS to upgrade their buildings to be ready for the smart city revolution. Our founding team has a strong track record in real estate, technology, and scaling digital products (coming from places like Uber, WeWork, The Crown Estate, Interchange and BCG Digital Ventures).

We are a team of passionate technologists, entrepreneurs, strategists and growth hackers. We've come from some of the most important and disruptive businesses in the world such as Uber, WeWork, Boston Consulting Group and Rocket Internet. We have a track record in real estate founding co-working spaces like Interchange in London, and advising major players such as the Crown Estate.
Vanessa is passionate about shaping the future of cities to improve everyone’s work and life experience. Having studied Engineering, Economics and Management at Oxford University, she wrote her masters thesis on "Understanding the DNA of Strong Entrepreneurial Hubs” and took her theory into practice by building large technology and coworking campuses (Factory Berlin and Interchange Camden, Market-Tech). Working at the intersection of cities and technology, she has now founded District.
Patrick believes in a future where technology is invisible and ubiquitous. Part of the early team at Uber and WeWork, he is now founder of District. Patrick is exceptionally strong at go-to-market execution to exploit global opportunities. He designed and executed expansion strategies into 50+ markets globally: first at Uber, where he led launches in Europe and Latin America, and then at WeWork, where as Head of Global Expansion he achieved 10X scale.
Chris heads up Product & Engineering for District Technologies. He manages a team of developers and designers who build the iOS and Android apps, as well as all the backend systems. Before joining District, Chris spent 4 years with the Boston Consulting Group initially as a strategy consultant and later as Senior Venture Architect within BCG's Digital Ventures arm. Chris holds an MEng in Information Systems Engineering from Imperial College.
Chaya is responsible for Product Growth at District Technologies, ensuring we are constantly growing, innovating and leading in the future of cities space. Her background has been mostly in Technology Commercialisation and Early-stage growth. Started her own company in 2009-2014 in the Augmented Reality B2B2c space and got acquired by Media Group in 2014.
Dan is responsible for the development of District. With an eye to the future and passion for integrating everyday life with technology, Dan draws on valuable experience honed through a global platform he founded in 2012 - connecting adults through online gaming. He holds a BSc in Music Technology from De Montfort University.
Bonnie supports the business strategy and marketing functions for District Technologies. She previously spent 7 years in the financial services industry, most recently as a Senior Investment Product Manager. Bonnie is currently pursuing her MBA at London Business School and is a CFA Charterholder.
